Common Obverse design: the Great Wall of China.

Reverse design: It commemorates the excavation of pits near Xi'an, China where hundreds of sculpted terracotta soldiers and animals were unearthed, representing an army expected to fight for an Emperor in the afterlife. The coin features an excavator hard at work, along with detailed depictions of some of the terracotta soldiers.
