Russia. Bond header. Steel. 7.75 x 5.25 inches.
A bond header, with a bold title below a similar vignette to that found on the above header. As this header is from after the 1917 Revolution, the Russian Arms at the center of the vignette have been replaced by an engraving of Liberty at center, wearing a Phrygian cap. This header is also for a Five-Year Five and One-Half Percent Bond, clearly the replacement for the one offered above. Satiny and lustrous light steel gray with some mild toning around. Light hairlines as typical, but a striking piece and likely unique or nearly so.
