Portrait of the King in military dress, facing right, as printed, in an oval frame. Titled in the steel below the portrait. Ferdinand I was king of Romania from 1914-1927. The vignette was used on rare Proof notes of the series of 1918 in multiple denominations (Pick-74 and 75). A lovely plate, satiny light steel gray with faint golden toning.
