The central text block and counters used on the 5 Soles notes dated June 30, 1879, these being issued in two variations (Pick-3 and Pick-4). These notes are part of the first official currency issue of the newly independent Republica del Peru. Lustrous medium steel gray with fine hairlines and handling marks, but a nice look overall.
