Beautiful and historic cover includes first coin issued by Hong Kong after control was transferred from Great Britain to China. The Five Dollar copper-nickel brilliant uncirculated coin features five flying bats, symbolizing the Five Blessings (long life, wealth, health, love of virtue and achieving one’s destiny), and an orchid. The four British stamps were cancelled on June 30, 1997, the last day that the English flag flew over Hong Kong. Limited to 50,000 pieces. The cover is individually serial numbered.
