A lovely vignetted bond face, beautifully designed. The face for a Five Percent Gold Bond of 1904. Satiny and lustrous medium gray, with heavy gold toning over much of the surface. Considerable traces of green ink are noted in the recesses. Typical hairlines, but nicely preserved.
