The reverse of the coin depicts a representation of a snake curled around a tree branch. The Chinese character for 'snake' and the inscription 'Year of the Snake' also appear in the design with The Perth Mint's traditional 'P' mintmark.

The Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the 2013 year-date are shown on the coin's obverse.

This huge coin is the world's largest silver coin! Contains 321.5 troy ounces of .999 fine, pure silver. Housed in a hard plastic capsule and ships in a protective wooden crate. Maximum mintage capped at 200 coins. Extremely impressive!
