Bimetal Coin Salutes Mothers
Although
issued in 2001, these beautifully designed coins have only now
been released in the United States. The official distributor,
PandaAmerica, has only a small supply on hand for immediate
delivery, so early orders are highly advisable. We are offering
these "Mother's Love" coins to those on our email
list before announcing them in the press.
The mother
cradling her baby marks the entry of mankind into the third
millennium. Their loving relationship represents the people
of the planet striving for harmony in themselves and in the
world, hoping for peace and understanding between nations.
These
coins were struck at the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine
from models sculpted by Roman Chaikovsky based on designs
of Mykola Kochubey. Each Brilliant Uncirculated bimetallic
coin consists of a "Golden Nordic" center surrounded
by a copper-nickel ring. Specifications are: face value 5
hrynias, mintage 50,000, 28.0 mm., 9.4 grams.
"Mothers'
Love" coins are available in very limited quantity for
only $14.95 each on a strict first come - first served basis
