Shin Yun Bok is well known for his realistic depictions of the daily lives and costumes of the Joseon dynasty. He had a great sense of colors and detailed lines in his drawings. The elegant colors of the painting perfectly match the gold-plated frame. A short phrase is inscribed on the bottom of left hand side with the meaning "Under the moonlight, only the two people know the two minds".

Reverse design: Shin Yun-Bok is a Korean painter from the 18th and 19th centuries of the Joseon dynasty and goes by Hyewon, his pen name.
