Your coin is encapsulated and carefully enclosed in a Royal Canadian Mint-branded red wood lacquered case, which comes packaged in a black beauty box.
Blue rhodium plating fills the field on both sides of the coin, and it covers the edge and rim too—in fact, the silver is only visible on the elegant effigy (obverse) and the finely engraved maple leaf (reverse).
In keeping with the maple leaf theme, both sides of the coin feature a laser-engraved pattern that adds depth to the design. The blue rhodium plating is translucent enough to ensure these repeating maple leaves are visible.
