Perth Mint issued the Chinese Zodiac Gold and Silver Coins - Series III.
This series starts from Year of the Rat in 2020, and will be ended by Year of Rabbit in 2031.
With 2021 nearing the end, we begin to welcome 2022 which is the Year of the Tiger according to the lunar calendar. The Lunar New Year Calendar follows a 12-year cycle featuring 12 animals. The cycle begins with the rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog, and ends with the pig. Tigers are known as the king of beasts and as such are known for incredible strength, braveness, and the ability to ward off evil. It is said that the Year of the Tiger 2022 will be brimming with opportunities and prosperity to come. Luckily you can start 2022 early by adding these coins to your collection.
