As I have been writing, the U.S. dollar is due for additional long-term devaluation versus key currencies. For currency devaluation I like the non-euro group above, as well as the Singapore dollar, Canadian dollar, and yen. And I always have precious metals. I like gold bullion, streetTRACKS Gold Share, American Century Gold, my Monster Master List gold stocks, and the rare one-ounce gold Pandas from the 1980's. Unless you are building a complete set, which is a nice idea, eschew later Panda mintages. PandaAmerica.com has treated me well. And I much like and own the nifty new 2006 American Buffalo one-ounce gold coins. Stick with the standard uncirculated coins. I eschew the expensive proof and NGC-certified MS-69 coins. A nice big stack of gold coins always is a welcome accouterment to your fine burled oak partner's desk.
