Second Series of Monkey King Colored Coins Issued by China
The
People’s Bank of China has issued the second series of proof
colored gold and silver coins commemorating the famous Chinese literary
classic “Pilgrimage To The West.” These coins, commemorating
the adventures of the Monkey King, have been issued appropriately
in the Chinese Year of the Monkey.
They were minted
by Shenzhen Guobao Minting Corporation, Shenyang Mint, and are available
from PandaAmerica, 3460 Torrance Blvd., Suite 100, Torrance, CA
90503. Prices are $109 for 2-coin silver set, $469 for ½
oz. gold coin, $299 for 5 oz. silver ingot-shaped coin, and $5,295
for 5 oz. gold ingot-shaped coin. Add $7.50 per order for shipping
