PandaAmerica
offers an exciting array of bullion coin options for investors seeking
to add precious metals to their portfolios. Among the most popular
gold and silver bullion coins are those from the Australian Lunar
Series, with designs based on the twelve different animals associated
with the ancient Chinese calendar. The 2006-dated coins feature
the Year of the Dog.
These magnificent coins represent more than an
investment opportunity. They also make ideal gifts for friends
or family, a Chinese New Year gift for business associates, or
a present for anyone born in the year of the dog – 1922,
1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, and 2006.
Beautiful designs and limited mintages mean these
bullion coins are also sought by collectors, giving them potential
for numismatic appreciation over time.
The year of the dog runs from January 29, 2006
to February 17, 2007. The Chinese believe the animal ruling the
year in which a person is born has a profound influence on their
personality. Dogs are regarded as loyal, trustworthy, honest,
and ethical.
All coins in this series are issued as legal tender
under the Australian Currency Act 1965.
